You can also try searching the web for affordable clothing or jewelry. There are many websites available that sale or auction clothing and jewelry. You can find new and used jewelry and clothing for very reasonable prices. This method of shopping is not usually as cheap as consignment shops but it will still save you money.

You can also find websites that exclusively deal in affordable jewelry. Do a search for a website like this and you will see savings that may surprise you. You will have to be aware when buying at these sites because you may not get what you bargain for. You should read everything on the page and try to find a site that will offer you a money back guarantee.

If something arrives at your home and it is not what the site said it was you want the option of returning the jewelry and getting your money back. If you decide to visit jewelry store to purchase your jewelry you may still be able to save money. Most jewelry stores will give discounts or come down on the price if you haggle with them.

I have worked at a jewelry store and I personally know that the sales people have wiggle room to negotiate. They are able to come down on the price by a certain percent. This does not mean that all jewelry stores do this and it is not on all jewelry but it can’t hurt to try.
