You can find new and used jewelry and clothing for very reasonable prices. This method of shopping is not usually as cheap as consignment shops but it will still save you money.

You can find certain sites that deal only with discounted jewelry. Do an online search for discounted jewelry and you will find surprising savings. You will need to be careful of phony jewelry. Read all information on the site and look for a refund guarantee. You could end up buying something in 10K gold and not get anything worth 10K gold at all if you are not careful.

When you get your jewelry in the mail and you find it is not what you thought it would be it is great to know you can get a refund when you send it back. If you are going into a jewelry store you can still find discounts. You can find many jewelry stores that will offer you a discount or lower their prices if you negotiate with them.

I have personally worked for a jewelry store and I can tell you that most sales people in a jewelry store have permission to negotiate on prices. They can usually take off a certain percent on the jewelry. Usually it is only on certain items and I’m sure this is the happening at all jewelry stores but you should at least try asking.
